Yep, we are mixed up alright but I love it......webkinz has become a lot more fun to me again lately, there for a while it was wearing off a bit. But now I'm aiming for a superbed.....I have a goal, a webkinz goal.
Tina you always have so much going on in WW I don't know how you keep it straight. With all of your pets and looking after ours and our wish lists. You always seem to do such a great job with it. We all appreciate what you do for us and the kids.

Until we got cable to our house I couldn't get on a bunch of normal sites. I'm not sure why the connection keeps you off certain sites but it does.
We're the last house on cable out our way and this doesn't make sense but my computer is still a little slow. The cable guys can't figure out why, "if you have cable you have cable and it shouldn't make a difference where you are on the line" then they scratch their heads and leave me with a still slower than normal computer. We even bought a new computer several months ago convinced the computer was the problem. Not!
It is a hit or miss for me to get on Webkinz from home. Tristen would get frustrated if he couldn't get into it so he doesn't even know about it yet. When I do get on it is slow of course because it is dial-up.
To send you a letter someone has to be on your friends list. If there are names i don't recognize, I delete them. If they are a friend they will reinvite you to their friends list. Were you hanging around in the clubhouse? That is where strangers request friends most. Or in the tournament arena.

It's car52022. Does that ring a bell? I got a present from car52022 today. I have been in the clubhouse and in the tournament area but I always play with someone named bes. I thought that was a generic name because anytime I enter a tournament it's against bes.
Well tonight I was going to put a mirror in the bathroom when the site went down. I was in the middle of moving it from where the stuff is kept after you buy it to the bathroom wall and now it's totally gone. I logged off, waited a few minutes, logged back on and it's gone.
Oh when the site goes down while you are transferring things from your dock, you often lose those items forever. Which mirror was it? I can get you another.

Be careful in the tournament arena. Kids almost always invite you to their friends list after you play a game. I never accept. I hate to hurt the kids feelings, but for all I know it may be a 50 year old pedaphile on the other side. Or, someone who will hack into my acct.

Please add Jonkinz13 to your friends list. Jonni adopted a polar bear, Syco, and a panda, Syko, to a new account. I told her she could buy three things a day from each of my 3 accounts and send them to herself so she is not struggling with that new and broke thing. But it will still take her a while to set up housekeeping the way she wants.

I got Tristen's webkinz adopted for him last night. His user name is TDKid2. That is the name he chose. He has a golden retriever and he named him Good Doggy.
He absolutely loves it! If I would have let him he would have had every bit of money that he had spent. He did spend most of it so after he went to bed I was in Quizzy's Corner trying to make him some money. He wants to buy a room she he can have a bathroom but I told him that he didn't have enough money to buy all that yet. So far he bought the football bed, a TV, the football wallpaper and flooring and food. His pet eats way more than mine does. I couldn't believe how hungry it was and how bad its health was right away when I adopted it. Mine did not start out like that. I bought lots of food last night for it and had to feed it all of it and when I logged out last night it was back down to 90.
Thanks Rachel! He will be so happy! He did not want to go to bed last night because he was so excited! It was the first thing he talked about this morning. He came into my room early this morning and asked if I had got a bathroom for his puppy and he wants a sink and a toothbrush for him. He is cute with it! I got up to do laundry last night and when I came back he had bought 3 of the same shirt and 5 pairs of the same shoes. He doesn't get it all quite yet. I don't think he realized that he bought that many. So...I had to go and sell them and you know you don't get back what you paid for them. Oh well...he will learn!

Loz, can you or will you add tute8 to my list. That's my stepsons daughter. Sort of a sad story here but I'll tell it anyway. Her dad, my stepson who I really like (maybe not so much now), has left his family for a much younger person. Not only has he left, but he's not spending anytime with his children and could care less. He's into looking good and hanging around people who tell him he looks good. Tori had started on Webkinz a while back but really wasn't into it. I'm trying to get her mind on something other than this mess at home. She was with us last Sunday and then again yesterday.
Don't worry about the jiffy is uncle thing. Her first pet is named uncle. Her account is jiffymouse. I will add you to my phone. When you log in you should get a pop up that says tedkinz wants to be added to your friends list. (or tedkinz1, tedkinz11 etc and jonkinz13) If you accept I will send you goodies to help you get a start. I will send you a pool that you can take to the w-shop and sell for cash in your account. You got a book webkinz guide when you first got there. It isn't the best descriptive book but it does help with navigating the site. We chat about webkinz things on webkinz # something. that will be the best place to ask your questions. We will try to help you out as much as possible. Welcome to WW (webkinz world).

Welcome Ashleigh. Yes there are a few of us here. But WW is hardly perfect, is it? You have to do something when you can't be out getting your hands dirty. I find Webkinz to be soothing and still keep me available for my family.

Welcome Ashleigh, I am sure that you will make some wonderful friends here both nature lovers and Webkinz lovers. I for one am hooked. Line and sinker! When I first joined here I had no idea what Webkinz was. I thought that it was a special game that was particular to this board. Then it was explained to me about the toys and when I discovered that they had a squirrel one well I had to have it since I collect squirrels ( both real and not ) so I went in search for the little Gray and when I entered the Webkinz world I was so hooked. I am ashamed to say that I am so into it that I don't spend as much time here as I would like. I just can't stand the thought that my little Webkinz squirrel may be hungry or board and I have found that I can at least have virtual plants ( although I did manage to kill my watermelons and pumpkins at first ). In real life I do not have a very green thumb so I can pretend that plants like me there. If only I could get my real squirrel children to wear those cute cloths. So anyway, yes there are some adults just as infatuated with Webkinz and some of us are here.

I got a request this morning from browntiger to be my friend but I don't know who this could be. If it is someone from our board I would like to except their invite but other wise not knowing how they got my name to request my acceptence of friendship I don't know whether to accept or not. Indigo1998, my grandsons account ,expired as of yesterday; but we bought a new webkinz and when we logged in, before we adopted it it said we had a grace period of 30 days. Since my accounts have never expired before I didn't really understand why we would need a grace period. If someone's account expires and they have four days left for a grace period, but they are taking a weeklong vacation away somewhere then the grace period ends does your account disappear? My account expires Christmas and that's about two months after my birthday.. so when I adopt one on my b-day it will say expires October 22 2010 right? (thats my bday Oct.22 so remember it folks!!) When I adopt another one on Christmas will it say october 22 2011... or will it say December 25 10? If so then I will just hold all my webkinz until the day (before) my account expires... because then it will actually add another WHOLE year, not a year cut into 2 months or so and then adding a year. Thats unfair.

when yo uadopt a new webkinz your account extends 1 year from the date of teh current adoption-- ----lets say your first adoption was on Christmas 2008 so your account goes to christmas 2009--- but then... you adopt another wenkinz on your birthday (Oct 22, 2009)---
it will extend you account to October 22, 2010---do you understand now???
if it were me and I got a new webkinz on Oct 22, I might consider waiting to activate it until nearer Christmas of the year--well unless I wanted to have multiple pets at one time.

Years ago I use to think everyone in here was a little weird until Cindy started me on Webkinz!! (Of cource it would be Cindy as the source of my addiction! ) I now have six accounts and HUNDREDS of pets!!
We were quite nuts, Shirley. After my husband died I got busy with real life and let my accounts die. I opened them up to Cindy, Rachel and Brennen to raid if they wanted anything. It was what I needed in my life at one time. And then it wasn't. But I am not sad about it. My mind smiles when I think about it all.

I tried to quit and let all my farms die and stayed out of there for a year or so, but then something sucked me back in and then I soon opened my sixth account. Now no one posting.....I always was a 'late bloomer'.
I have been so busy with o ther thigns that I have let m ine go to the wayside for now---I have several animals in one account--but I need to remember which of my animals are good yet so I can re-open my account. I got dis-interested when they changed the format--I now have a hard time getting into a routine so I know what is left to do...

Rachel read this and called me...to explain that concept to me. She said when she had multiple accounts and needed money in some of them she did the same thing. I have only had the one account, so never had a lack of money.
I am sure I have a LOT of stuff that is expensive (I know I have several of those pools) that you can send to your accounts to sell. Tonight after Lola is in bed I will go through some rooms and put stuff in a separate room for you to send yourself.
I quit playing when my grand children got bored with it. My daughter finally threw out a bunch of their pets. I only have 3 left here but the accounts are dead.
Something is wrong with Webkinz...I can't log in. It says I have to have Adobe Flashplayer installed...I just updated my Adobe and still get the same message. I was in there earlier, got in just fine.
Brennan has about 100 Webkinz...no kidding. He doesn't have them all in his account. Rach takes the tags off and keeps them for when we need to add a new pet every year in March she just pulls a tag out and we're good.
Shirley...you have presents in your rooms. I couldn't sit here long enough to go through and clean a room out, so I got some stuff and sent it to you to sell.
I do think if you allow your account to go dormant after the time is up that you lose it. If you get a new pet, you start over like with your very first. You probably cannot even use your original log-in name.
