I did a search for small white fuzzy caterpillers and found your website. I'm so glad to know there are others here who live in the DFW area.

I have a question about pruning azaleas. I have three huge encore azaleas on the north side of the house. One of them looks half dead. When should I prune them and how much? Also, I did have a problem with the caterpillars, but we sprayed for them and I think they are all gone now, but not before trying to chew through every plant in my yard including my tall holly trees.

I would like to hear from all who live in this area.

Thanks for replying angelblossom. I didn't have the little critters that bad, but they sure took a hunk out of my nelly stevens hollies. I haven't seen them since we sprayed for them. Hopefully, they are gone for awhile.

See you around!
