Okay Barb,

I'll dig the tubers up after the frost and see how they look. If they look healthy I'll send those out to you ASAP.

Try some in the full sun and some with out......I have mine all in full sun.
And everyone likes them..........

I knew nothing about them till i planted some seeds....You can also grow them in pots outdoors and move them when you desire.

Mine get bushy......Single stem is as wide as tall .. say 18 inches or less. Never very tall, but loaded with blossoms......

Bloom about late august or early sept......

I would say a foot high pot......They dont get massive tubers......
I raised a sweet tater in a hanging basket and it was much larger then these guys.
If you feed Miracle grow , once a month it keeps the roots smaller.

Barb,
Just thought I'd double check with you first. Are there any size preferences/limitations you have with dahlias. The tubers I hopefully will be sending to you, if they grow and thrive, will give you plants ranging from 3 - 7 feet tall. Some are 4ft tall and 4ft wide. The 7 footer is about 2 feet wide. Is this going to pose a problem??

As far as what I'd like back....
I really was not expecting anything. You have some exotic plants I'd love to have like that oxypellatium what ever thing that blooms at night, but I wouldn't have a clue on how to grow it anyway. So don't worry about it. Just post some pictures if my tubers actually make it through the winter and bloom next season. That's good enough for me. thumbup

Size means nothing to me......I live on a farm and love any thing you send..
I can put them everywhere.....I suppose the large the tuber the larger the plant?

I can grow any size.........I have a huge lawn which I play in I will email a photo of views of my yard......Ole farm house..

Sorry Dodge, but I have bad news. We've had endless cold, cloudy days all month and my garden has been a swamp everyday from all the rain since end of september. So when I dug up my tubers they were all rotted or partially rotted. Sadly, I have no decent tubers to salvage and send out. This is what I get for not planting on raised beds! Maybe I'll have better luck with next year's tubers....
