I know at one time we had a weather topic but I'm not sure where it is or if it was just deleted and never reopened.....

It's FREEZING here this morning....Sunny, but as cold inside my house as it is outside....we had a hard freeze last night. nervous I'd turn my electric heater on for a while but Mark took it to his dads because his heater went out.

Luckily Wednesday it's supposed to be a high of about 61---that's the day of the parade at school and trick or treating so that's better than 50's or 40's I guess for this time of the year.

I'm just glad all the rain of last week is gone.

We had a hard freeze Sunday morning. Today it is supposed to be 63 and tomorrow 61 which is wonderful for here this time of year! But then it is going to cool down again! It is only supposed to be in the 40s on Wednesday. Of course we have to freeze when we got trick or treating. lol They are saying that we might get our first snow on Saturday. That is about normal for here though. Sometimes we get snow the beginning of October. In 1991 we had a HUGE blizzard on Halloween. Everybody was snowed in for a couple of days. We don't typically have a blizzard that early. But this weather now is unseasonably warm for us. I won't complain though. thumbup

Yes I did say snow! I don't like snow at all but we knew it would be here soon so I guess I will have to live with it. rspb The only time I like snow is on Christmas. It wouldn't be Christmas if we didn't have snow.

I hope it snows at your house tomorrow!!! neenee lol lol kissie

Hi, we will probably get snow again on Wed night- or at least be very cold... good thing the kids are doing the trick or treat at the high school this year...
right now it is nice and getting up to 68* today- but hubby is bringing in wood for when the cold front arrives...

neenee Not a chance! lol I like snow on Christmas too, but year after year we've not had white Christmas. I wouldn't mind getting 3 feet on Christmas day! That way we could stay home instead of splitting up the day. I like to just relax on Christmas. thumbup

Snow for you too Nana? Wow....

We often have snow on Halloween, but none is in the air for tomorrow. Good thing, too, because of the big parade. Maxi doesn't have his snow boots yet, either. I need to get him some next week.

This time of year I tend to bake in the morning to take the chill off first thing but try not to run the heat just yet. On sunny days, the sun streams through our sliders warming things up nicely after sunrise.

love it b. i will always have one of those from now on. i change the batteries when i change my smoke detector batteries, and it's great. it even has week day settings and weekend settings so we can adjust it for the days we don't have to get up so early.

and, it has manual override so i can cool it off, or warm it up if i'm here when it thinks i'm not.

it was also super easy to install, just a screw driver. and reasonable in price, around $30 at walmart. made by honeywell. uses 2 AA batteries.

we have bee having frost too--it gets down to just about freezing in the early am hours & then slowly creeps up to the mid to high 60's here--the weather man says e will get an occasional 70'+ but without the humidity you really do not notice that it is that warm.

Brrrr, it's the cold mornings when you first wake up that kill me..... nervous

Most of the highs for the next week are in the 40's and low 50's. That seems so cold right now but in the spring when it's warming up that's warm and I'm outside puttering around in the garden. lol

It is beautiful here. Sunny and breezy. The wind blew the rain out of our area and we ended up with very little.
