Hello and welcome. We have a great forum here, you'll love it. I'm a zone 3 bordering 4 as well.

Jump right in with us. Oh and we love to see pics of your 'before and after' gardens and plans as well.

Welcome Brian!

Can't wait to hear more about your gardens.
Can you tell me where you live in Upstate NY? I live in Rockland County now on the NJ border, but have gone to school in Binghamton, and Rochester, and my son lives in Ithaca - are you anywhere near any of those towns? By the zone you mentioned, it sounds like you are VERY upstate?

I like the before and after picture idea. I'll post them - someday. We are in fact very upstate. We are in Camden, NY on the edge of the Tug Hill Plateau and therefore recieve quite a bit of snow. But hey, can't beat the cost of living.

Hi Brian ~

Welcome to the forum!

I am a native New Yorker (upstate) myself but enjoy the coast of Maine very much. I too will be glad to hear of your garden plans and/or see pics!

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.
