why my glad flower stalks grow up so crooked like a snake...

...do they lack any particular nutrient... that i fail..or my soil fail to provide...?

Please help....

Mine look like that too, thought it was the wind here. Almost as soon as they bloom they fall over

I'm not too sure, I know some people stake their glads to make them grow straight.

The flower stocks do look alittle less substantial than mine were.

I would assume it's either the variety of glad or a nutrient deficiency too but I'm no expert. Either that or because of the pale color of the stock it may be that it is trying to find more light.

Do you have it in dappled light by any chance?

n Tammy... yea i do agree the stalks look kinda thin, huh..? May b my glads do not get enough nutrients... coz where sunshine is concerned ...hmmm i dont think they'd b lacking in that area... emm may b i need to add some fertilizer!

do a soil test before you start adding fertilizer or other additives. And remember that some additives will require a fair amount of time before they will chance the profile of the soil.

Hi Dodge...n Tammy too...

Both of u r right...lack of sunshine... i've just noticed that da spot where they were...have relocated 'em now... has become shaded by a tree abt a few hundred metres away...coz d tree has grown taller n larger..... n blocks d morning sun!!
