Howdy y'all,

Hope everyone is well. Lots has been "a changin" here. I now live with my father in Attleboro. Jeff and I are no longer living together, and not really together at all . Many things have happened in our relationship. I'm excited about living here with my father. I have a huge yard with raised plant beds and plenty of room for my 200 house plants. It's a good thing that I can be here for my father since my step mom passed, he won't be alone anymore. EAND!!!! I'm SOOOOOO glad to be back on-line with you fabulous folk. well Ive droned on enough. I'm going to cruise the forum

Well all I know is there is no predicting New England weather. It does tend,or did tend, to snow alot. Now with the "global warming" I don't know what to expect.

I hear you on the controlled environment! So, how far are you from Boston? We looked at BU for our daughter for next year. It's currently her second choice after NYU - she's applying early decision there - can you say things are far from calm in this household these days?!?

No i'm not working these days. I don't know if I will be again due to my knees being in the condition they are in. I'm in the process os checking into welfare and SSI or SSDI. I'm sort of confused on witch way to go. I guess the direction witch offers more money would be best (ha ha ha)

Ouchie - but what is causing all that pain? My husband had both knees "done" - tore the tendons in both, and one shoulder!

I hope so too Shirl. There is alot I have to take into consideration though. He is a MAJOR alcoholic and he needs rehab and some good counselling.

I think it's some type of degenerative thing happening. It's been going on since I was knee high to a grasshopper.

Interesting - I, too, have bad knees, but not that bad thankfully. When I was a kid, my pediatrician told me that I'd be in a wheelchair by the time I was a young adult! PHOOEY!!! The worst problem I have is that sometimes when I am walking down stairs one of them will go "out" and cause extreme pain. But that only lasts for a minute or so and then I'm good to go - weird!

Jeff has knees like that. Mine are just in a constant state of pain. It gets worse with damp rainy gray cloudy etc. ( ha ha ha ha) weather. It's almost like bone against bone. I hear crunching and grinding when I bend or stand up.

YOUR BACK!!!

Whoopie!

I'm so glad to see you. I'm sorry to hear about you and Jeff. I moved back with my dad for a few years after mom died. It wasn't at all easy. Will you be able to get the knee replacement surgery? Would that kind of thing help?

If you get the disability you will probably still qualify for the welfare and possible mediaid will pay for your medicare part b. That's what all I have. It's a mess to try and sort through and takes them ages so do all the paperwork as soon as you can.

My chinese lanterns came up gang busters this year and everytime I look at them I think of you. I'm glad you are back on line and I hope you stay on line.
