Help anyone please! This tiny tiny insect is boring into my citrus trees and killing them! I dug one out to photograph and take to my county extention agent. Anyone seen one before? It is quite tiny, about 1/16 inch or less long.
That is a pen point in the pic with it. I took the pic with super duper close up lenses and magnified with photoshop. Got to get rid of this thing!

that looks like some specie of Beetle is it hard shelled??

Yes, hard shell. It is so tiny I can't get any good photos to pull in the details.
