We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Beautiful pics Lynne, ours aren't turning so pretty this year because it's been so dry....some are just browing off.....

And ya know something Jiffy....I could never handle your heat of the summer---I think God just puts us in the right place for us! thumbup

The snow isn't actually too bad, it's the bitter cold that is the worst.... boohoo I'd rather get 3 feet with the temp hovering around 30-32, than have a week of - something degrees. nervous

It's REALLY warm here today actually...probably in the mid 70's easy....very warm for October.

I agree Loz!!! Our winters here in MN can be very cold and snowy but I know that I couldn't take the extreme heat that those in south have in the summer. I would be absolutely miserable!!!

I think this year has to be one of the prettiest we've ever had here. There are more reds and oranges and just beautiful color all around. Unfortunately, I don't always have my camera handy...

This tree is at the base of our backyard in the rock wall. Every year it gets brighter and brighter, but it's really difficult to get a good picture of it because it's so bright. So I took one today on this cloudy day. It really doesn't do the colors justice though...

I keep missing some real beauties when I don't have my camera with me, but the other day I did have it luckily.

Here is the magnificent maple in front of the middle school here.
Every year I am more and more grateful that they did NOT CUT it down when they expanded the school.
It was in the plans to give it the axe, but we residents put up a fight and won!

And some mountains for Diane, because I still find it hard to believe that she doesn't see any where she lives! why kissie
This was taken a few blocks from my house.

WOW That tree is Awesome Lynne!!!!!!! clap clap Simply Gorgeous!! I'm glad there was a fight for it to stay~ What a beauty mark it makes!! grin

The view of the Mountain looks like a Plush Carpet of trees,, Pretty cool view!! Thanks for thinking of me when you took it! lol kissie

And ...Believe it.... No mountains around here uhuhh , boohoo Not even near here
Only In far West Texas,,here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guadalupe_Peak <-- and I dont' even consider that a mountain,, I believe it was created from Lava hundreds of years ago,,, IT is flat and Plain where I am,, and Where I was IN KS too,, So to see a green lush mountain is Awesome to me, grin
