Anybody have any idea on an o.k. digi cam for around $100-$140 bucks or so? Doesn't need to be fancy, just have a flash lol

Tamara: my DH got me a Digital camera for my BD last year (06)
I am not real sure of the price, but you can always check--Below is what I got--

camera is Nikon Coolpix L3

5.1 megapixels
3X Zoom Nikkor Lens
2.0 inch LCD Monitor

If you want to see how the pictures look, go to the Craft Swap & you can look at the pictures I posted there.

good luck !! kissie

Thanks Junie.

I see this Saturday the Kodak Easyshare is on sale for $120. It says 6.2 mp, 3 times optical zoom and 2.4 inch LCD screen. I have no idea what all that means though lol

That's pretty good Tamara.....

When you buy a Camera optical zoom is more important really than digital zoom.

Optical means that the actual lens zooms in and out for closeups.

Not a bad price...When I bought my Sony Cybershot 5-4 years ago it was $200 and that was for 3x optical and 3.1 megapixels. The prices are pretty good on the cameras now! thumbup I would at least get one with optical zoom. That is my main priority with cameras...

Don't forget that once you buy it the memory stick that comes with most cameras only holds a few pictures---like 8-10 on high quality.

Eventually you'll want to get yourself a good one....and different cameras take different memory cards....the one I have now from Bill uses an SD card. My old one took a memory stick. Just something to keep in mind because when you get a bigger card you can hold tons of pics and even take short video clips. thumbup

Thanks, never thought about that.

I checked out the camera on the site. It even has a 'flower' button(yup, a little tulip that you click on) lol for close ups and a 'snow' feature for taking pics in the cold and snow glare.
