Hi everyone,

I don;t know much about banana trees but my mothers friend had one and it was a gorgeous tree. She obviously had it for years cause it was big. Can anyone reccomend a kind that I could find to grow well indoors that actually has fruit on it? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I dont know much about fruits as I have not yet ventured into that territory of gardening yet.

Thanks

you'd want dwarf cultivers like dwarf cavendish& you'd be able to grow it outdoors durring the summer potted or sunk in ground.they are actually quiet easy to overwinter. You can grow basjoo outdoors where you are.they are hardy to zone 5 and can wrap trunk or build a cage around ot filled with leaves or straw.
