last nite when getting of the interstate, is saw this in the middle of the road
[Linked Image]
it must have got bumped by a car and was just sitting there! so you know me....could not leave it not knowing if it could fly, and it was right in front of a truck stop.....so in the van it went! touched it sat on the side of the door the whole 20 miles home. after i, YES, brought it in the house, took pics, made sure i was ok, could fly, no wounds or anything....i let it go. it turned around and looked at me before it flew off----maybe a thank you? why this was a very neat experience!

Wendy--tha tis a truely amazing bird--and you are so compassionate. The little guy was lucky you happened along----he apparently was in shock or something--with just sitting there--so you probably kept him from getting hit again & hurt--or worse--- nervous

WOW Wendy - that is amazing! Just the fact that you were able to get him to go so easily with you is unbelievable! I would have been afraid of getting bitten or clawed, but you have that natural instinct with animals - thank you!
