Combine in bowl:
2 and 1/2 cups Oatmeal(Rapid one minute oats)
1 cup coconut(can omit and use another cup of oatmeal instead)
1/3 cup powdered baking cocoa

Set aside.

Lay out sheet of waxed paper for dropping macaroons(I use a large ice cream scoop)

Melt together in large pot:

1/2 cup of block margarine or butter
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup milk

Bring this to a boil on medium heat and boil for 2 minutes. Be careful, it is burning hot. Remove from stove.
Quickly add oatmeal mix and stir quick(gotta be quick~it can start to set in your pot.
Drop by spoonfuls or scoops. Leave set.

Makes a dozen large macaroons.

Yummy.

I made these last night! They are very good! The only thing I would do different next time is use a smaller scoop because they are very sweet. But we really liked them! I just cut the ones that I had made in half before I put them away. thumbup
