I had my ficus tree outside for the summer. I normally don't like to do that to my houseplants, but our new deck was missing something. I brought the tree in about 10 days ago and right away a lot of the leaves yellowed and starting falling off. It is just continuing. The water seems usual and since I have never taken it outside before I don't know what it is going through. Does anyone have any ideas?

I agree, any sudden change will affect a Ficus that way,
it's like the plant equivelent of a temper tantrum. egad
I once saw one drop nearly every last leaf because it was
moved from the right side of a sliding glass door to the left side. rolz

They nearly always recover just fine - but -
be sure you don't over-water during this period,
with less foliage, it may need less water than you're used to giving it.
Use your fingers to feel about an inch or so deep into the soil.
Also, don't fertilize the plant until it grows some new leaves.

I agree. Ficus are REALLY temperamental of environment changes. It'll spring back shortly. Light, temperature and humidity really effect those.
