I just noticed in my vegetable garden that one of my scallion stem broke or some kind of animal broke it off cause i did not find the seperate piece but I lokked inside the stem and there was this brown muchy substance that poured out of it almost like some kind of maybe bird poop or something? Anyone have any idea what it might be and if they are safe to harvest and eat still?

they have gone bad m8 have they been watered too much or

been waterlogged? You need to dig em all up if they are all

the same and burn em!
