I have read on here and other places about planting fall lettuce and cauliflower. I have some seeds but the instructions say to plant them in early spring after last frost. Do I have the wrong seeds?

Sheri you cant plant lettuce approximately 80 days before your first fall freeze, hard freeze, not just light frost. What kind of lettuce? If you have a packet, look at the x# of days to maturity. Add about 7-10 more days to germinate, and then find out when your freeze date is predicted. and count backwards from there.

my grandson and I went ahead and put out the lettuce seeds yesterday. We'll see what happens. It was fun even if it doesn't come up.
