Right now, it's more or less cleanup - yardwork. Raking rubble from places I didn't bother working on this year. It was just too hot to be out there a lot in August. Even now, I'm only going out to work for an hour or so in the evening.

Today I brought in my hardy hibiscus - I know you're supposed to plant them in the ground so they'll overwinter, but I don't trust that - our soil isn't that good - very few things overwinter.

Well, you're probably thinking 'geesh! Carly doesn't seem to be her usual gung ho gardening self lately' and you'll be right - I'm not really. Just not into it like I was other years.

That is sad to loose all winter over plants.............

Maybe you just need a long break from an ole routine.. A change helps me lots of time.......I hate routine.......
