Help, please! I rescued a ficus benjamin, quite a big tree with big leaves, but they are split and dry and yellow at the edges and one green leaf has eggs imbedded inside. What parasites are they, how can I get rid of them, what spray to use, etc.????
Thanks for all help!

I believe they are parasitic wasps...they look disgusting and gross and I have them all over a large tree...but the wasps are supposed to lay eggs in bad bugs like cabbage worms and tomato hornworms so I let them be. the tree here is deciduis and drops it leaves every year so I don't worry too much...I don't think there is a solution once the eggs are laid

I just re-read your post...one leaf, so I assume if its one leaf you can just pull it out for aesthetics, but leaving it probably won't do harm
