I am going to start making this very soon and thought I'd share a pic. If anyone has any experience with beading like this, boy I'd sure like to hear any advice you've got! This is my first beading project and my husband keeps saying that I may be too ambitious for my own good. I'm not arguing with him. lol

I thought these would make lovely christmas gifts. Do you think these would look as good in a monochromatic scheme (different coordinating hues of purple or another color) or maybe with the top of the wings a different color and the rest white??

I think they'd look good in any monochromatic scheme or colored with white wings, or white with colors. I can 'see' them any of those ways.

In a book from the library. I still need to scan them into the computer and save them. I'll lose them if I just made paper copies. Will keep you posted though.

Very pretty, from experience I can tell you if you are going to start beading invest in a tiny pair of needlenose pliers, makes things so much easier.

Well, before we invest so much in my abilities .... lol lol lol

I'll try one and if I still have some sanity and coherent-ness in me, I'll try for another. I wonder how long this is going to take me...

I still have to pick up the bulk of my supplies and so I'll put those on my list, Tamara.

Sharon, the instructions are from a book at the library called 'Art of seed beading' by elizabeth gourley, Jane Davis and Ellen Talbott. 1999 copyright.

Posting the directions would be difficult because it requires scanning the pages in. The instructions sometime say "following the pattern in figure A" If you'd like, I would be happy to email the scanned pics over to you, just let me know or PM me you addy.

Probably some sort of copyright infringement too.

Angel Christmas Ornament it's an exact copy of the book - the instructions are on page 85
