I'm sorry it has been soo long since I've posted an update on Maddie. Things are busy here. Maddie turned 3 months old on the 6th and had a dr. appt that day so we had her weighed and everything. 7 lbs. 15.7 ozs. and 19 inches long. She has outgrown all of her preemie sized clothes and is now in newborn clothes...although they are a little long because she is soo short. We were given the OK to "feed on demand" at night time, which is GREAT. It means we don't have to wake ourselves OR Maddie up every 3 hours to feed her. She usually wakes up every 3 1/2-4 1/2 hours on her own. She is off of the really high calorie formula. It is special 22 calorie per ounce formula that we were mixing to make it 24 calorie/ounce. We don't have to make the strong mix anymore, so she is just getting 22 cal/oz now. She had a little case of cradle cap, but I think I scrubbed it all off of her last week. She LOVES her baths and almost always falls asleep during her bath when I am shampooing her head. We found out she doesn't like beer, but does like red wine (such a lush). We just give her a finger dip of it every now and then to "prime the pump". ...its kind of a family tradition on Stephen's side of the family (his uncle teethed on a beer bottle for goodness sakes!!! lol). We went to church for the first time with her last week and everyone was all over her....which is why we waited soo long. We have to be really careful that she doesn't get sick because she can get RSV easily. Maddie gets vaccinations frequently. She has gotten her normal "I'm 2 months old" vaccines plus the roto virus vaccine and flu shot. She will get them all again next month when we go in for her 4 month check up and then from October through April she will something called the Synergis vaccine that will help with her not getting the RSV.

Here is a link to the online picture albums. I will be updating the albums again in the next couple of days as we have some pictures of her with her PSU stuff and I have a copy of her birth announcement that I want to put in that album too. Maddie's pictures

So, that is everything new on Maddie. She's getting really big and is just now starting to smile in response to something....although it isn't something that happens much yet. :)

Oh, she is such a sweetie pie.

lol I was a 'prime the pump' baby too. I used to cry for my uncle who used to let me dip.

We had to get her weighed today because she seems to have outgrown an important medicine and keeps throwing up. She is 9 lbs. 3 ozs. now!!! I guess she'll be 10 pounds by her next doctors visit.
