2 1/2 cups herb seasoned croutons
2 packages Jimmy Dean sausage
9 eggs
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 1/2 cups milk
3 cups cheddar cheese
8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 green bell
pepper1 red bell
pepper1 small onion
1/2 cup milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Grease 9 x 13 pan. Brown sausage and drain. Beat eggs, dry mustard and 2 1/2 cups of milk. Layer ingredients in pan in the following order: croutons, sausage, cheese and egg mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Saute mushrooms,
peppers and onion in butter. Mix together cream of mushroom soup and 1 cup of milk. Add mushrooms,
peppers and onion. Pour over egg layer. Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Let set for 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
*I used 1/2 an onion but you could use however much to your liking. I also chopped the
peppers and onion the night before so that in the morning all I had to do was saute them, add them to the rest of the egg bake and bake it. This was excellent!
