I have mine outside in
spring and summer thru early fall( in all shade all day( Too hot here in TX) and bring it in when it gets colder and put in a south facing window,, and it blooms all winter,, But when I lived in KS it stayed inside all year in a south bay window and it always had blooms on it , I don't know if that was a stoke of luck or not
but that's what it did
However when I moved to TX it didn't do that Now I get blooms mid
spring and all winter,, Here is a site that may help you because you live in a colder climate that me,, I don't know if it really makes a difference,, but I understand they need a hiberation ) darkened)period to make them bloom in winter I hope this helps!
