i just got an email from my friend here...there was some sort of mining accident last nite involving 2 miners here at the zinc mine in smith county. her husband worked in it several years ago and they are waiting to see what happened and if it is anyone they know! tears this makes me think of those 6 poor men in the mine collapse a few weeks ago, that was just awful!

update....GOOD! the news in nashville reported that both men are not seriously hurt, 1 has mild head injury, and the other that was life flighted has since had surgery for a crushed leg. the mine was re-opened several months ago, but not working yet, just getting ready.

i still can't help but think of those 6 miners that were not so lucky a while back. i hope they did not suffer and struggle.
