I guess it might be a regional thing, why I dunno.

CLICK HERE <--- This is what I know as "Naked Ladies" (Amaryllis belladonna).
The flower in your photo is what I've always been told
were "Spider Lilies" (Lycoris radiata).

"Common" names for plants can be soooo confusing,
so I rarely use them without also including the Latin names,
especially if I'm trading plants with anyone -
I'd hate to send them what I know as "Naked Ladies" uhuhh
if what they really want is what is in your picture. :wink:

I *think* that what we refer to as naked ladies are both the spider lily and the amaryllis belladonna. Also known as a surprise lily I think, because of how it blooms without leaves
