Knitting needles are NOT just for knitting! This one works exceptionally well as a replacement antenna on Amy's boombox that I've been using on the deck this past week!

hey, if it works!
Isn't necessity the mother of all invention?
![[Linked Image]](//www.agardenersforum.com/images/graphics/buttons/merme.gif) ![[Linked Image]](//www.agardenersforum.com/images/graphics/buttons/gardenhelper.jpg) We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.

I got tired of the aluminum falling off, and not really working well anyway, so one day I was out there with my knitting and decided to stick a needle in - VOILA!

I'll have to check and see if I have a blue needle that I don't need to use currently that fits the hole - I do like to be color-coordinated too, Wrennie!
I don't think it will be hit by lightening, Sheri, as I don't plan to be outside when lightening is about!!!
