Hi I am new to the Forum. I just moved into a home that has a couple of problems. I need insight/wisdom and decided to 'come see you all'. I am a former 'partial' homesteader :) most recently from Iowa. Have been in CO 3 years and love it, even if I have to be a city dweller for a season. Hiking, camping etc with my Sweetheart, our 'rock dog', Abby, and an occasional grown son or daughter. I am a student at Pikes Peak Community in C. Sprgs. Thanks for the opportunity to be with like minded folks!
I have a very dear friend that lives in Co'springs CO also,, When I go see her I always have her take me to the "Garden of the Gods" I love it there!!! I've been to Pikes Peat a couple of time ,, it is Soooo Beautiful up there!!! BUT It was very difficult for me to breath up there.. Now Ask Me why did I go up a second time ~~ If I couldn't Breath the first time??
ME= WEllll You know ...., the sacrifices One makes to enjoys Natures Beauty

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
Welcome Nites1lady!! Sorry this welcome from me is so late!! You will find lots of gardening and houseplant help on here; lots of fun places in Banter Hall and Gardeners Chat!!! There's many talented people in various crafts, here; and of course we invite you to come chat with us in the Coffeehouse!!! Because of workers, retirees etc. we seem to have a morning group of people, a daytime group, and evening group. Once in awhile on Friday and Saturday nights we even get to partying in the Coffeehouse!! So search the forum, find things of interest to you, and please, talk to us so we can get to know one another! Shirls
