lol That's how Pepsi tastes to me....I honestly don't like it at all...but I'm lucky to be able to even find coke to drink----caffeine free is hard to find but when we get it I'm in heaven. I get sick of drinking sprite and 7up and sierra mist.

Mark only drinks Pepsi when it comes to soda. rspb lol

I don't like Pepsi either. I don't really like soda that much anyway. If I do have one it has to be Coke from a glass bottle or Mountain Dew in a can.... lol I know...I'm strange.

I remember getting the glass bottles in packs when I was a kid.....and I clearly remember my brother opening the moutain dew and drinking it and then filling it back up with water hoping mom and dad wouldn't notice. lol Soda was a treat for us back then, not an everyday thing.

I didn't realize you could still get glass bottles anywhere, that's so cool---do you have to pay deposits like some states in the US do? We don't, but my brother in Michigan has to.

We pay bottle and can deposits up here.

Right now I am drinking diet 7 UP.

Around here Coke has everything tied up - football games, colleges, amusement parks. Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell serve Pepsi but most restaurants serve Coke.

When I was pregnant I wanted Coke only in the little bottles.

We pay deposits here too. In fact, that is how many people earn a good income.... returning all the empties other people can't be bothered with! Maxi earns enough picking them up here and there to make regular donations to a Native American orphanage in Montana and to give a small "scholarship" to a college freshman each year for textbooks.

I am not so altruistic with my recycle funds, Merme. Last year they helped pay for gas to get my boy to and from school. The district was underpaying me by half. We got that straightened out so I should be good to go this year. Plus I got a big whomping check for the underpayment. That is good. I often drop off bags of recyclables for my older son. He's always so broke. It is all good for the earth.

We pay a ten cent deposit on bottles and get 5 cents back on return. We don't get a thing for any other recyclable item.

there are deposits here on glass drink bottles for sodas, wines, etc. there are deposits on plastic drink bottles as well. there are deposits on drink cans.
There are also deposits on water jugs -- the big, gallon size. Up here you see people going around all over the place picking up discarded drink containers because they are worth money.

Wine and alcohol bottles are worth 15 cents. Everything else is a nickel.

Here the 10 cent deposit is on every drinkable item except milk containers. Even each little 'mini sip' bag has a ten cent deposit on it.
