Hello!
I was in San Francisco a few weeks ago visiting a friend at their new house. I tried to help them identify the plants in their yard but these are some that I haven't seen before.
Anyone know what they are?
( it's the top 5 photos in the link)

You may also notice some beautiful pictures of yellowish ( not really able to tell in the picture) mold
in the dirt in a couple other pictures. This happens to nearly all of my potted plants at some time or another. Anyone know what it is?

Thanks!!

The pink one is Clarkia amoena and the tall one is Acanthus, aka. Bear's Breeches.
