No ......They are local geese who never leave Pa.......They been flying over head each morning when I go out to tour my flower beds.. I can't get the camera out fast enough .. they are large.

Thought you'd enjoy it any how.

We also have a Heron who visits our dam in the cow pasture.. Boy does it take off when you just open the door......Very huge.. Need a real zoom to get that bugger.
Now ole Thorn has me chasing birds.....lol thumbup

I saw a flock of geese flying south here yesterday. So odd. It is very, very early. And we are a destination for birds of all types from further north. Lot's spend winter here. Some of our hummers stay around all winter. But then so do some of our blooms.

Wild geese do leave in the fall........
These locals were just flying from ponds in our area...........

Those are Canada Geese, I believe, Dodge. Here is a picture I took a couple of years ago above my house that were ACTUALLY headed South.

Boy your better than I at catching them.. They we think are local geese who stay all winter............A friend has a huge pond for them.
It is too early to head soutn.

We saw them 3 times this week, so they arent leaving yet>>I think.

But we do get the canadian ones later.

thanks for sharing.
