ok, everything is pretty much burned to a crisp here in middle tennessee. i dont even water any of my flower garden except my hydrangeas. so, my question is....should i go ahead and whack everything back to the ground now, so maybe the plants will save it's energy and wont completely die?

please, what do i do?

It's going to depend on what you have?

Bulbs if they are completely brown can be trimmed back to the ground. The rest we'll need to know what they are.

I think your going to be fine with all of those. Geramiums and silver lace may not do real well. But then those aren't two that I have much luck with anyway. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
