Hi, please help, what are these egg like thing found in soil when i report my chinese evergreen, so many, like 20~30 pcs are found. please help.

Thanks, i have just bought this chinese evergreen from plant nursery, these nodules are inside the soil near the root of the plant, so these must be time release fertilizer nodules.

If it was a nursery grown plant, it may be time release fertilizer nodules, if it is in native soil it most likely slug eggs or snail eggs..... Thank you Cindy!!!! Those are in my bags of potting soil I buy, and I have wondered and wondered what they were!!!
