After a year of torment...I have finally caught the groundhog...There's just one problem...he died in the havahart...Yikes...

Groundhogs do alot of damage. I remember when we use to have to 'deal' with them when I worked at the dairy farm. Cows used to walk in the holes the Groundhogs would dig and end up breaking their legs.

Thanks, I just feel kinda bad that he died...and now I need a beekeeper suit to get next to the cage so I can toss him out...

There's like a bazillion bees swarmin it...I'm allergic to bee stings. :(

About the bees[if you'd risk it, considering you'r allergic]
just put a few drops of dish soap per cup of water in a spray bottle, and stir, not shake it... spray the bees a bit and they should die almost right away...something in the soap messes up their lungs and wings, or something... it's worked for me, but im not allergic... :nrevous:

Best of luck to you, and for getting that thing out before it starts to stink! shock lol

Ok...I got up early this morning...nothin swarmin, so I just grabbed up the cage and dumped it...YAY!

*now lets just hope there are NO MORE!*

Does anyone know if I can back fill the hole with rocks or something???

Yup, fill it and you might need to refill it again if things settle. Usually it is a tunnel with two entrances. Watch your ankles while searching for the other one.
