You guys are really bad. We better be nice before Cindy comes along and censors us all. Or worse yet, Bill comes along with his power to poof and we're all gone. Somebody save us from ourselves. I should have never broken out. I've gone wild.
I know how you felt......I didnt say that word, but I was getting taken advantage of , and by 2 ladys......The boss came over and I stood up and told them off right in front of her.. Slammed my chair back and went to the ladys room.....
i thought I was fired........Know what? The girls ended up coming into the bathroom bawling and asking me to forgive them.......Never had a problem after that ..( I am retired now).........I held 5 different jobs in 5 places, and there is always someone who pulls the caper..
I cuss all the time, and it bothers me because the Bible says to "Cease from profane babbling". I never use the Lord's Name in vain however, and will not permit that done in my presence.
I've got this 13 year old kid who doesn't talk.(down syndrome)I just know that if I allow a lot of language around him he will pick out the words that are emphasized and repeat them. I try really hard to keep it clean.

Why is it that kids only hear the bad words? All of them seem to pick up on bad words when they aren't old enough to know that they ARE bad words. Is it the emphasis or enthusiam we use when we say bad words?
I don't know, Sheri. But it works like that every time. Ted jabbers to himself all of the time. He is very verbal. It just isn't English. He repeats nonsense phrases a lot. Some of his nonsense has come awfully close to belonging in this thread already. I am not looking for improvement there.

No, Ted is completely segregated in special ed school only. It goes from age 11 through 22. I have never heard language there. Even amongst the speaking students.
