Helping the world one seed at a time

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee

That looks like a Sumac to me, though the leaves on yours are more deeply cut than I normally see.

It is in the family to sumac but the lady that
gave it to me has it and it get a red color
funny thing on it and when you touch it, it
feel just like a monkey's hand.

Hahahaha! grin that's cute!
Yes sumac's flowers are strange, red, cone-like, and fuzzy.
I've never actually touched one (they are usually waaay up there) but now I just gotta!

OK, so they aren't actually the flowers (which are creamy). But the fruit.
Anyway you appear to have a relatively new mutation of the Staghorn Sumac(Rhus typhina), called Tigers Eyes. Very cool!
I have a picture but no idea how to post it (I'm new:)
