Oh, the looks great, Lynne! I bet you're going to spend many hours watching the wildlife out there.

Awesome deck (and dock!). I'm a little jealous! It's really nice. We are goingn to try to re-build and expand our small (10X10) deck next summer. I'm looking forward to it--hopefully, we'll have the $$ when the time to do it rolls around.

What a cool video! The deck/dock is closer to the house than I thought. You could fill up a wagon or wheelborrow with ice and drinks and have a real nice time. Will you be putting chairs there?

Ooo! I just had a brain storm, but I don't think it will work on your deck~~

What if you had a study wooden top, like a pergola, on the deck and hung swinging chairs or a hammock there?! Wouldn't that be cool? I was thinking that regular lawn/camp chairs might tip if the deck got rocky, or someone would scoot their chair just a little too far back and tip into the water, then I thought about the hanging chairs/hammock.

You could hang small "tables' or table that had cup sized holes so the cups would sit in the holes without tipping or spilling; even a larger hole for an ice bucket or bowl of chips!

I'm on a roll girls! I wish someone was getting ready to make a deck/dock with a pergola and was willing to try my idea, because there's no way I'm ever going to have a nice lake to put one on! Boo-hoo.

I LIKE it! You know you could put a planter in the corner and let a nice vine grow up that ready made trellis.

Looks great. But you fish, I'll take the pictures. :~D

That looks wonderful! I would love to have that to go sit and read or just relax and watch and listen to the wildlife. You're very lucky to have your own lake like that, I'm very jealous.

Lynne, I was thinking about the glider on your dock before I fell asleep last night. Please tell me you have it attached to the deck! I was imagining you and a friend sitting in the glider when someone stepped on that same side of the deck just as the glider was sliding back and the glider and you fell right into the water!!!!!!!

Maybe you could put it across a corner so the corner support would be behind it and also nail it down.

Now I'll worry about you until I hear you've battened down the glider in some fashion.

Wear life vest!!

Ms. Boop, I want to sit there with a glass of red wine (2 glasses?), a murder mystery, and a candle, and watch the world darken as evening sets in and the frogs come out. Dinner and television happen in the house without me, and eventually, just when I am thinking of going back in, someone comes out to see if I'm ok. Ahh...

May God bless the WHOLE world!

Sandy Lynn, (just joking.)

I did get the names mixed up, but I'm so glad to know all is safe! And if you're having wine, well then I'm there in spirit(s - pun intended!) Although, I wouldn't turn down a nice Malibu Rum and pineapple juice. I am a sissy fruity kinda drinker. Or water. Water's good. So long as no one falls in it! The part I play in an emergency is the one who calls 911 grin
