...familiar to all of you, I'm sure (which is why I didn't put this in Mystery Plants), but I don't know what I bought! I thought it was so pretty because of the pink veins in it's leaves. Could you tell me it's name, and, should I keep it in full sun or partial shade? I don't want anything to cause it to lose that pink color! Also how do I water it? Thank you all!!!! ![[Linked Image]](http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q136/Shirley4_album/Plants%20and%20Willies/PinkVeinedPlant002.jpg)

Fittonias also like very high humidity and bright light. If they don't get enough humidity they can get fussy.

That is a beautiful plant. Where did you pick that up from? I just might have to get one of them if they're easy to care for.

I got it at Kroger when I went grocery shopping. It wasn't ourside where they line up plants, but inside in sort of a flower gift department. Cost me 4.99 because of being in there!!!! So don't get one there!!! It is pretty! I love those pink veins in the dark green leaf. Beautiful contrast.

Thank you Shirly4. We don't have Kroger's here in Iowa. I'm going to look for one while I'm out and about shopping. I think I recall seeing some at Walmart the other day. I think I'll have to go back and see.
Thanks khorysmom

I'm sure I have seen them there before, and they would be cheaper, no doubt. But this one was nice a big and full, and I just went ahead and paid the price!!

I'm sorry. By bright light I don't mean in a hot windowsill, but maybe close to a north-facing one. Or a few feet away from an east, west or south window. It doesn't need the type of sun a jade or rubber plant would want. Maybe more like an arrowhead syngonium, pothos or peace lily.

ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh.......Kroger is soooo bad about high prices.we have a Fred Meyer(aka Kroger)and its the only dept. store in our small town,so they take advantage.BUT, in their defense, I LOVE when they have a clearance sale(IF the item I want is still ther by the time clearance comes around........)
