Anyone ever use Patons Pebbles yarn? I started a scarf from it and think I like its look better on the skein. Maybe i just need a bigger hook. It calls for an L and I'm using a K. I just dont have an L. Maybe I'll rip it out and try it on a bigger hook.

It was on clearance at JoAnns. $1.97
I looked on the patons yarn site and it doesnt even show so it must have been discontinued. I pulled apart the piece i was doing but i can take a pic of the skein.

The K made it look almost matted down. You lost all that warm fuzzy look. It calls for an l. ANd i thought i'd try something bigger like maybe an N.

I use 100% coton. Like sugar-n-creme or lion cotton, the kind people use to make dish cloths.
It takes about 8 yards.
I have used acrylic worsted weight but i like the idea of no acrylic fuzz for kitty to hack on.
I can type you my pattern if you want.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Is there a topical benadryl? I cant take benadryl liquid or pills. Makes me sick.
Soap and water was enough to make it stop. I just have to remember to not touch me when I use up that yarn.

Wrennie - I just saw this post, and wanted to tell you that there is definitely a gel form of topical Benadryl. Amy uses it with no problem, and it worked very well for her the time her entire foot got bitten by red ants when she stepped on an ant hill unknowingly.

I buy it at either WalMart or WalGreens, but I'm sure you can find it in most drugstores.
