Well, it has been confirmed that it was an F2 tornado that went through. Here's a pic from the weekly newspaper.(wish I had a scanner)

You can see a camper trailer knocked on it's side and a concrete building tore apart.

Yup, those pics were a 5 minute drive away from me at a camp ground.

I saw about the tornado in NYC on the news. They said there hasn't been a tornado there since the late 1800's. That is crazy!

We had three within a 2 hour drive from me this past week. This one was too close. They usually form over the water, now they are hitting land.

Last year we watched one form over the water in August at father-in-laws funeral service, it formed then just fell apart again. Never touched down. it was an amazing sight. I live just a few minutes drive from the ocean.
