A couple of days ago I ran into a flock of about 20 House Wrens in a hedgerow across the road from house. They were some of the hardest birds I've ever seen to photograph. Sooo tiny, hyperactive, and adorable. Sweetest things you ever saw!

Peek-a-boo!

lucky you Thorny--

I have had wren houses up since the spring of 2005 and to this day, no takers---so it is nice to at least see picutes of house wrens, or any wrens for that matter. clap

I love them. I had them nest last year in my reef on the door and also this year in my hanging baskets on the front porch. The last chick just left the nest yesterday. Here is a pic of them just before they all left the nest.

AMAZING!!! Your photo is spectacular, your little ones are adorable, oh how fortunate you are!!! They are one of my favourites too! The little wrens I have are brown and someone told me the common name for these was a "Jenny Wren" and they don't seem to have the delightful little tuffs of hair that yours do!!!

I need a better camera but I do have a couple of pics to share of my little wrens. There were 4 eggs this year but only 3 came true. (My neighbour was generous enough to take this one for me!!) kissie

This little one is from last years brood and she came knocking on my door when she fledged, so I was quick to snap a pic!!
