Hello;

I have a question,and my question is do I let the
seeds dry out,or how do I prepare the seeds for
storage so I can plant them in the spring. I've always
purchased my seeds from Park seeds,and I thought I
would try using some of the seeds from my peppers and
see if I have any luck that they would sprout.

Thank You
Donnie

wavy

Keep the seeds in a dry spot, without any, or minimal amounts of moisture or humidity...then pack the seeds in a little envelope, or a home-made seed packet, and keep them in a dry place over winter... in the spring, the seeds should be ready to go! make sure the seeds are completely dry all the way through before you pack them.. I'd give them about a week or two...try to keep the seeds spaced out from each other, as well, if possible... ie don't clump them up.. then you should be fine! thumbup
Good luck with them!

Can you use pepper seeds from a green pepper? Most peppers are a different color when ripe, red, yellow, orange, so unless you let the pepper ripen will the see be fertile?

We had volunteers this year from Tomatoes that ripened on the ground, mostly grape, but also a big boy which matured nicely.
