I'm hoping to go to TN this fall. I noticedd that's where you're from. I assume you saw this bird there? I'll be keeping my eyes open and my camera ready for this one!!

Yes, this Killdeer was across the road from my house in a church parking lot. You have Killdeer there where you live in Florida all year just like we do in Tennessee, Gail. Check out the large parking lots of shopping centers or schools or office buildings. That is where you are most likely to see them. also, large cemeteries are FANTASTIC places to look for Killdeer and many other bird species.
