That I want Odie

I keep going back to look at that picture...... lol I love her ears. Plus she's house trained!

Now only to convince Mark. rolz I don't think it'll work, but I'll keep trying.

Odie is a funny name for a girl considering Odie in Garfield is a boy! lol But we wouldn't want a big dog, and she's a good size and cute. Mark doesn't think she's "mannish" enough for him! Well fine, he can get his own dog! lol Hmmmm, might have to email them and see if she's still there.....if I adopted her and brought her home what could he do? lol I'm just a rebel like that! rolz

It could be a VERY early anniversary present! lol Man, it would be weird to have to get up to take the dog out for the bathroom all the time. That would take some getting used to again. lol

I might, I really might do it! lol

I always knew when I did finally get another dog it would be a Poud Puppy rescue. No fancy high priced doggies here. Just a mixed mutt that I'd love to pieces. It's good that she's good with kids since Athena is here a lot too.

awwwww Loz! Odie is very cute, and sounds very sweet. I'd just go get her, and by the time Mark could complain too much he'd already be crazy about her!! thumbup

DH tried that, didn't work. I am terrified of dogs, big or small.

He does look cute though Loz, but he'd still scare me.

Sometimes shelters let you "foster" an animal. I have no experience with Humane societies but I know for sure no-kill shelters do it.--besides it would not hurt to ask. If you did that you could see if she was really as well behaved as they say and if she fit into your lifestyle. if it all worked out--you could go back & formally adopt her.

She sure is cute though!!

PAWS is one of the organizations that let you foster cats and dogs. They even help with some of the expenses when they can. It's a really great organization.

Loz, she looks to be much the same kind of dog as our new Catahoula Leopard dog, Lucky, further down the column in Critter Corner.
