My 2012 Garden Project

I've learned a lot about plant care since I joined last year. grin There are a lot of people at this site I can thank for that too.
We moved since I joined but we don't rent anymore and we have our own house and tons of space for gardens! I lost some of my plants but I kept a lot of them alive for a whole year in my indoor garden. Here is what I kept alive:

A Poblano pepper plant
3 Red Habanero pepper plants
Varigated Devil's Ivy
Blue Satin Devil's Ivy
A Shirley Angel Wing Begonia
A Giant Aloe plant
A Spider Plant
A Mexican Petunia Bush
A Pink mum bush

My pictures (above) are plants I'm growing this year. The red Senior Prom and yellow Star Of Texas ever-blooming tea roses were here when we moved in but not very healthy. There is a compost pile here so I mixed that, potting soil, and sand with the dirt, and added bone meal and epsom salt and the roses are tons healthier now!
The pictures are (L-R):

1. seeds for Genovese Basil
Broad Leaf Sage
Thyme
Rosemary
Dill
2. seeds for Clemson Spineless Okra
Emerald Okra
Brandywine tomatos
Beefmaster hybrid tomatos
Large Fruit Red Cherry tomatos
3. seeds for Cal Wonder Red Bell peppers
Sweet Banana peppers
Long Thin Hot Cayenne peppers
Cubanelle peppers
Serrano chili peppers
4. Garlics
Medium Red, Large Yellow, and Medium White onions I planted.
5. Varigated Boxwood bush
6. Raspberry Sundae Peony bush
7. Bowl Peony bush
8. Senior Prom ever-blooming tea rose
9. Yellow Star Of Texas ever-blooming tea rose
10. English Ivy

I have tulips, lilies, cannas, and irises too. and I'll be getting Jalapeno peppers and more veggies.

this IS something about planting a seed in the ground and watching it grow, isn't there? Been out playing in the dirt for better than a week now and am going to hate to have to go back to work next week! But work isn't too bad, just love playing in the dirt more grin

It's a miracle that a dried up tiny seed can make such beautiful flowers and yummy vegetables.

Where do you work?
