WOW - I've never seen a cyclamen planted in the ground - here it's usually a house plant that doesn't last too long.

Cyclamen are all perennials. The difference is that the 'florist type' Cyclamen that you mentioned are tender perennials, and mine is a hardy variety.
Cyclamen grown indoors usually fizzle out shortly because most homes are much warmer than they like. Cyclamen are corms, and it doesn't take much effort to revive the florist's type after they they appear to die off, once they have a rest period...

It looks like A cotton candy like one I have,, very light pink on the edges?
We have the cyclamen here growing outdoors as well seen in late fall., It was great seeing October pictures of CH Wild Willy thanks! clap
