It is winter time there but has green grass down by the river in the trees. They raise their own alfalfa hay on the cat farm all they can use and also some for sale. Glad you liked the photo's. As a kid if anyone had ever told me one day I would enjoy going out in 10 deg weather thawing out stand pipe and feeding stock I would have called them crazy But I enjoyed it very much so relaxing after being in the city where everything is rush need it yesterday.
Jimmy that was so cool. You just described why Hubby/ I love the farm so much. No rush , just doing our own thing.. Some days it is hectic, but is our first love.

Diane you must have they were in the around the farm slide show. The most beautiful long haired Russian Blue I have ever seen as well as a couple of short hairs and a bunch of Siamese. Dodge nope we don't let anyone ride Bandit any more we raised our kids on him now at 29 he has more then earned retirement all he does is eat and hang out with dog who is his constant buddy.

I, too, just found this thread - thanks so much for sharing it all with us, Jimmy. I'm so glad you were there to help your mom celebrate her birthday. Isn't it amazing how long some people are living nowadays - terrific!
