Are they at least going to leave you this mulch for what is left of your yard?

I don't know that I would want it because they put metal and everything from that house - windows, fixtures whatever and ran it throught that chipper. The only stuff they divided out was the bathtub, toilet, piping, and some wiring.

No, you wouldn't want it. I thought that was your trees that they took out.

WOW, hard to believe that they can break a house just so easily like that. One minute you have a home, the next minute you have a mulch pile. shock

There are trees in that too. That pile is everything that was there. From a distance it looks like beautiful mulch, but it's not.

I'm not sure what's going to happen but it has to get gone before they start with the highway lanes that will go there.

i'm confused!! is it YOUR house they took down???? i certainly hope not!! if it is, though, i hope they paid you very, very well for the loss of your home!!

we had to take down my uncles house after he died...big old three-story victorian. took just a day to knock it over. then a day to grind everything up and a couple days of putting it in big containers and hauling it all to the dump.

Nope Joclyn, not Sheri's house. They are taking part of her yard though, a large part.
