The DOT man came by the other day and asked Johnny if they could work in our yard before a settlement is reached and Johnny said "no." Very nicely I might add. Today I came home and the big trees are down. You can see the big trees, around 25 feet tall, in the other post.

Oh, I am so sorry, Sheri. i find this whole subject woeful. It makes me sad.

They did. Johnny was there when they came back this morning and it really mad him mad. He's very laid back and doesn't get mad often but he told the guy that he figured the trees were in the right of way and therefore he couldn't say much about that, but that whatever they were back for was on our property and he would bash his GD head in if he came on our property. (That wording seems so funny to me. He didn't say that he would beat him up or punch him out, but that he would bash his head in). He said the guy didn't say a word just got back in his truck and Johnny called me and said he was probably going to be arrested so for me to be prepared for a call to bail him out. But the guy came back with the forman who was nice and apologized and said they wouldn't be back until everything was settled. What had upset me was that they left a mess in the driveway. They cleaned it up.

Sometime you have to take the bull by the horns.
I get lots of that static here too.

one of the places where I've been getting flower, they started tearing down today so thast's the end of my digging there. And there were several more naked ladies waiting to be saved.

there you are with those naked ladies again. I don't know what that is. In my line of work, a nurse in a women's clinic, I know what a naked lady is.

here's a naked lady, they are called naked ladys because the leaves come in the sping, then late in summer you get one flower, no leaves

I'm sorry to see what they are doing Sheri! That is terrible. I am glad that Johnny told him where to go!!!

With the trees cut down I noticed this morning how much more visibility I have pulling out of the driveway. I can almost see over the hill.
