Very pretty Japanese maple, Bill. I might have had the same 'accident' if I'd had the cash on me. I never, ever shop nurseries with a checkbook or plastic on me. Credit cards weigh too much.

Bill I found Three ID's of viburnum trees could one of these possible be it on your unidentified one?? I couldn't tell what color of blooms are on there Pink or white?? why

The flowers are pink. What's unusual is that there is a 4' straight trunk before it branches.... why There are lots of buds beginning to open. grin

Those are all awesome trees.
I love the color of that Shishigahira, but I think my favorite one is going to be....the Weeping Birch! I love anykind of 'weeping' trees, I love birch, and I love the 'crookedie' trunk!!! clap

I'm hoping it will be in full leaf next summer!!! thumbup

Here is one that gets 10 ft tall and blooms all winter loses leaves as it begins to bloom there are a variaty of winter pink blooming viburnum clap

How Nice to have Pink clusters peeking out of snow!!

I've been wanting a purple smoke bush ever since I saw the one at our community college just up the road in full "bloom" a few years ago - it is a mature tree and WOW was that ever gorgeous!!!

Can't wait to see yours in bloom! thumbup
