We went to this restaurant in Greenwich Village in Manhattan for Don's administrative assistant's bachelorette party. All the "waitresses" are guys dressed in drag! Some of them were very good, and it certainly was entertaining! Some of them have very nice "female" singing voices - we were quite surprised. But the theme, of course, is very scandalous, so it's not for those who are shy or prudish!
OMG I can imagine some of us going there from here it would be a blast!! SO they sing while you eat dinner is there an admission at the door or just a walk in resturant??
"Grace without perfection is more to be desired than perfection without grace."
There are 2 shows each night. First the performers come around and take your orders - drinks, and then dinner. Our's was a fixed menu since we were 18 people - the food came out very quickly. While we ate, the waitresses performed - I think about 5 who performed. (not including all the diners who got roped into much of the performances!)
I do not know if you can just walk in - I think the second show is more for that - most of the tables were taken up with large parties while we were there - there were 2 sweet 16 parties there - can you imagine?!? The BD kids' parents were there taking tons of pictures - I'm not sure that is where I'd want my kid to go for her 16th birthday, but then again, Amy is anxious to go there and she's 17. And... my niece did go there for her 16th with some friends!
It would be a blast if we could all go there - ladies' night out!
Ya know, Christy - I never thought of that! Wonder how they would react if someone came in dressed up - not sure they would like the thunder stollen out from under them if you know what I mean. But if you know anything about Greenwich Village in NYC, anything goes, and there are more gay people there than not!
that would be a blast to dress up in drag n go there to eat!
so...does that mean if we had a ladies night out there...and we dressed up in drag...that we would dress as men? ...or we would dress as men dressed like women?
Well Im not the worlds most physical guy But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola Well Im not dumb but I cant understand Why she walked like a woman and talked like a man Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Been to several drag concerts, my wife's best friend's favorite dance club has a special "drag" section; that they're always singing... went there every weekend for 6 weeks before I said "can't we just go out to dinner?" lol

I did Tupperware parties for awhile in CA, and one of my best parties, was when I had a 'surprise stripper' for the ladies! One of my gay guy friends!!! I also served mixed drinks!! I had fun giving fun Tupper parties!!!
Another best one was where I invited the women AND their husbands/boyfriends, and served mixed drinks and beer! The men were down in the floor playing with snap-together large beads for baby's!!! They spent more money than the women did!!!
OH MY! Now i know who he reminds me of... All Beef Patty looks like he could be my friend Lynnies twin brother, same shaped mouth, eyes, nose,, if you told me it was her I'd have believed it.
