Johnny put a new screen door on the screened in porch and

put brick pavers on the floor. It's a little porch but I love it.

Oh, very nice. Can we get a larger pic of the whole project?

It's small Triss. My sisters have gigantic screened in porches but our area would only allow a small one unless we changed the room line - too big a project for us right now. We can't have a party out there but it's nice for us, the dogs and a few friends.

Hey You two, some friends and the dogs sounds like it just the right size for a little gettogether! HE did a really good job laying the bricks too! It should help keep the room cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter!

We have a ceiling fan on the porch and somehow a bird of some type has built a nest between the ceiling and the motor. It has to be a tiny bird. Nest material was sticking out everywhere. We've been watching and haven't seen a bird or figured out how a bird would get in and out - there aren't any holes in the screen. So, Johnny cleaned out the straw and stuff but we can't get it all without taking down the fan. Any ideas on how that bird got in?

I'm glad you didn't turn the fan on without knowing it was there!! You would have slung it to kingdom-come!!!

Gosh Shirley, I didn't even think of what a mess it could have been.

Johnny has now decided to stain all the wood on the porch. I'm going to have to change the fan too. The bird ruined it.
